From a simple observation to four beautifully engineered devices. This is how we’re rethinking the way information lives in your space.
How It Started
BraiNews began with a simple observation: we spend too much time unlocking our phones to check things that should just be visible. The time. The weather. Whether BTC is up or down. Shouldn’t this information just… be there?
Our founder was a trader who kept a second monitor dedicated entirely to market data. One day, he thought: why does this require a full computer monitor? Why can’t this information live on a beautiful object — something you’d actually want on your desk? That question sparked two years of design and engineering that became the BraiNews DECK.
The response to DECK was overwhelming — but customers kept asking: “Do you have something for my nightstand? My living room? My kitchen?” So we built three more devices, each optimized for a different surface in your life. The result is the BraiNews ecosystem: four form factors, one data layer, infinite possibilities.
Design Philosophy
Every BraiNews device follows three core principles that guide every decision — from material selection to software design:
1. Ambient Information
Data that lives in your space, not in your pocket. Information should be as effortless to access as glancing at a clock on the wall. No unlocking, no navigating apps, no notifications demanding your attention. BraiNews devices are seen, not touched — they’re part of your environment, not interruptions to it.
2. Premium Feel
Aluminum, glass, and precision engineering. No plastic toys, no cheap finishes. Every BraiNews device is CNC-machined from solid aluminum alloy — the same process used for high-end camera bodies and aerospace components. When you pick up a BraiNews device, it feels cold, dense, and substantial. It feels like it belongs in a design museum. Because it does.
3. Single Purpose, Done Right
Each device has a clear job, and it does it beautifully. DECK is for your desk — it doesn’t try to be a speaker or a camera. NANO is for intimate spaces — so it adds audio and AI vision. Cube is for interaction — so it has six faces and a gyroscope. Portal is for your wall — so it’s thin, elegant, and mounts like a picture frame. We don’t cram features. We design for context.

DECK — $199
The widescreen desktop command center. Sits below your monitor showing markets, calendar, flights, and alerts. 2.5:1 aspect ratio. The original BraiNews device.
NANO — $249
The triangular AI smart display with integrated speaker and camera. Bird identification, baby monitor, finance dashboard, and more. Our most versatile device.
Cube — $299
Six screens, one fist-sized cube. Rotate to switch between clock, stocks, dice, timer, weather, and calendar. A conversation piece that’s also incredibly useful.
Portal — $399
The elegant digital frame with a 3×3 information grid. Wall-mounted. Shows photos, stocks, weather, clock, news, and more. The centerpiece of any room.

What’s Next
We’re constantly exploring new form factors and data sources. The BraiNews software platform gets smarter over time — every device receives free OTA updates that add new features, new dashboards, and new integrations.
Some things we’re working on: deeper smart home integration, personalized AI briefings, collaborative family dashboards, and new form factors we can’t talk about yet.
